Almost all the castles are open to the public,  e.g. Angers, Brissac and Saumur, etc. The wineries offer you the posibility for tasting and buying local wines. The cities of Angers  (30 min) and Saumur  (45 min) are close by as well as charming villages as Bouchemaine, Cande-St. Martin, La Pointe, Le Thoreil, cities as e.g. Nantes, Laval and Le Mans.
